Rainbow Polish: Great Blue

Hey, you. Yes you, reading the screen. Are you looking for a kind of different and a little bit funky of a topcoat? If so, I have something that I'd like you to check out. It's Great Blue from Rainbow Polish.

Yeah, those are a ton of chunky glitters that you see in a variety of shapes and colors. Still interested? Then BAM, check it out over a fiery, borderline neon coral:

Here is Misa So HOT in Sunglasses:

So HOT in Sunglasses is my first Misa lacquer and I really enjoyed it. This was a one coater. That very rarely happens. So I was excited and I think that the color is very complimentary to Great Blue and my skin tone (read: ghostly white). I used one coat of Seche Vite to finish everything off.

I also tried Great Blue over two coats of China Glaze Candy Lacquer, a pale blue creme:

Application of Great Blue was decent. You do need to use the dabbing method when applying, because otherwise I seemed to end up with all or nothing in an area of my nail. But the effect is worth it. If you like chunky, standout glitter topcoats, then Great Blue is right up your alley. If you only like refined lacquers, I wouldn't recommend this one for you. For me, I love a good variety in my collection and Great Blue has a glitter combination that I don't think I've seen before (i.e. lots of larger glitters without small/medium as well).

Rainbow Polish is available on Etsy and Big Cartel. While you're checking out what's offered on the intrawebs, make sure to swing by the Rainbow Polish Facebook page and show 'em some love by liking the page!

Items in this post were provided to me for my honest review. All opinions, as always, are my own.
