NotTooPolished: Watermelon

It seems like summer just started and it's already more than half way over. But before it ends, here is a very summery lacquer that you need to pick up: NotTooPolished Watermelon!

Watermelon is an incredibly fun pink-based lacquer with black and white hexes and black round matte glitters:
Here is Watermelon on the nails. I don't own any lacquers with black rounds in them and was a little hesitant because I thought that they were going to be difficult to apply, stick off of my nails, or be impossible to fish out of the bottle. Thankfully, I experienced none of that and application was flawless!
All photos were taken in artificial light, without flash, and show three thin coats of Watermelon with one coat of Poshe fast dry topcoat to finish everything off.
The depth of this lacquer is great and I was surprised at how good the coverage was -- no visible nail lines!
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed Watermelon. It's a really fun polish and was incredibly easy to apply. Go pick one up!

NotTooPolished lacquers can be purchased on Etsy. And while you're perusing the internet, make sure to check out the Not Too Polished blog and Facebook page. Like the page to show some love!

Note: The product featured in this post was sent to me for my honest review.

  1. I really like the base of this polish, but Im not sure how I feel about these circle glitters going around. My mind wants hexes! Lol

    1. I was really hesitant about the rounds, too. But it was a nice change up from the usual hexes. My heart is always with hexes though, same as you :)

  2. This is awesome! I really like the polish and the depth of it, but I don't think I like the really big black circles... I like everything else though! :)
